Metro & bus service

Liljeholmen has a well-connected transportation system by bus, metro and by which tram  makes it easy to explore not only the district but also the greater Stockholm area.

Skavsta Airport 98.9 kms – 1 hour 6 min

Bromma Airport – 9.4 kms – 14 min

Stockholm Central Station – 5.2 kms – 16 min by metro which connects to the entire city.

Tvärbanan (Tram Line) passes through Liljeholmen which connects to the north western side of stockholm by bypassing the center of the city hence saving time.

Nearby Liljeholmen

Within a 10 to 15 minute bus ride from Liljeholmen, you will find Sundyberg & Kista which are very culturally diverse areas in Sweden.

Hornstull – is an area in western Södermalm, Stockholm. Hornstull is actually the name of where the streets Hornsgatan and Långholmsgatan intersect. Hornstull also has a metro station. A weekend market has been held regularly at Hornstull, under the name “Street”. Many of the merchants at the market sell their own individual fashion designs and creations. Street includes a restaurant, coffee house and a night club.

Sodermalm is at a 10 min distance from Liljeholmen. Södermalm is connected to its surrounding areas by a number of bridges. It connects Gamla stan, Slussen, to Långholmen, Västerbron, Reimersholme to the west, to Liljeholmen to the southwest by the bridge Liljeholmsbron and to many parts of Stockholm.

This neighborhood is home to grocery stores such as Liljeholmstorget & Liljeholmens Galleria For a grocery store. One can check out local markets or farmers’ markets in the Liljeholmen area. These markets often feature fresh, local produce, artisanal products, and unique items that you might not find in larger supermarkets and specialty stores. For those fun things to do in Liljeholmen, in the summer, swimmers gather at the half-sand beach with plastic pails and shovels; in the winter, the frozen depths are paved to make way for ice-skating. In summer, As it is surrounded by nature, residents  enjoy hiking, birdwatching, bicycling and kayaking.  Pack a picnic and enjoy it in one of the local parks or by the waterfront for a relaxing day out. Trekantens strandbad

Trekantens strandbadis located at the western part of the lake Trekantens in Liljeholmen. Around the lake there are nice parks and nature areas. There is a ramp for wheelchairs that leads down into the water.

Liljeholmstorget Galleria

Food, fashion, sports, home furnishings, pharmacies, system companies and service. When Liljeholmstorget Galleria was inaugurated in October 2009, the area got its first shopping center. With 90 shops and direct access from a newly built garage embedded in the mountain with 900 parking spaces as well as from the subway and the square, everyday life was simplified for both residents, workers and passers-by. At the same time, Liljeholmstorget received a much-needed facelift.

Liljeholmstorget Galleria is owned and managed by Citycon, which has a strong position as owner, manager and developer of grocery-based shopping centers in urban locations in the Nordics and Baltics.

Lake Trekanten

Trekanten is a small lake in south-central Stockholm, Sweden. Trekanten is located in a park furnished with an artificial bathing beach and various planted-out fish species.

The Fruit Park

The Fruit Park in Liljeholmen is a popular playground between the underground station and the lake Trekanten where all of the equipment is shaped like fruit. Over the years this has been an incredibly popular park with the children. There are plenty of trees around the park to keep it shady on hot summer days – and several of them are easy to climb – but children need to remember to only climb as high as they can climb down.

The Nybohovs Vattenreservoar Water Reservoir

Is which is located on a hill on the southwestern corner of Lake Trekanten provides a good view of the lake and surrounding area.
